A delegation of the Jewish Students’ Union in Vilna visited the Rector of Vilna University to-day to intervene on behalf of the Jewish student Wulfin, who has been arrested on the charge of being concerned in the death of the National Democratic student Waclawski. The delegation assured the Rector that the Union is ready to assume complete responsibility for Wulfin’s innocence.

The Public Prosecutor, on the other hand, told press representatives to-day that the court is in possession of evidence against both Wulfin and Zalkind.

The Vilna Yiddish newspapers were confiscated to-day for publishing the details of the inquiry which is being conducted into the circumstances of Waclawski’s death.
