The Moslem Congress in Jerusalem can have no effect upon the development of the Jewish National Home, Mr. Winston Churchill, former British Colonial Secretary, said to a J.T.A. representative to-day on arriving in the United States.
Great Britain is not worrying about this Congress, he said, and there is no reason why the Jews should be concerned with it.
The unfortunate Passfield White Paper has been righted, Mr. Churchill added, and at present all the leaders of the Government are in favour of the Jewish National Home, and there is no disagreement among them with regard to the British duties towards the establishment of the Jewish National Home.
