The Council of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Prussia has decided to reject the Jewish Communities Draft Law, which was completed by the Prussian Government in November, because it restricts the right of foreign Jews living in Prussia to vote and be elected to the Jewish Communities.
The Presidium has been instructed to inform the Government that the Federation stands by its own draft, which was drawn up in 1928, in which foreign Jews are given equal rights with German Jews in the affairs of the Jewish Communities.
If the Government does not meet the wishes of the Jewish Communities in this matter, the Federation will press the matter in the Prussian Parliament.
