Anti-Jewish fighting continued to-day at the Commercial Academy (before the restoration of order) and Jews were also attacked in the Park near the Academy. Three Jewish students have sustained severe head injuries. One Nazi student has also been injured in the course of the fighting, and a Jewish student named Kornfein has been arrested, and charged with inflicting the injuries, and also with using a knife. Kornfein claims that he only used his heavy street-doon key and also that he had to act in self-defence. Despite this plea the police are proceeding with their action against him and have drawn up the indictment. Kornfein is calling a number of witnesses who saw him being attacked, and can confirm that he acted only in self-defence.
