Leaflets calling upon the population to boycott the Jews were distributed on Wednesday in Damascus, says a report which has been received here, and a hostile atmosphere was created against the Jewish population. Three Jews were severely beaten, and police reinforcements had to be sent into the Jewish quarter to protect the Jewish population.
