A resolution calling upon the outstanding Jews in America to formulate a programme and platform for harmonious action in American Jewry, has been adopted to-day at the 27th. annual convention of the Order Brith Sholom, one of the leading Jewish fraternal Orders in the United States, which is now in session in Atlantic City, New Jersey. There are about 1,000 delegates and visitors attending the session. The Brith Sholom has constituent lodges in about a hundred towns in 22 States.
Rabbi Dr. Stephen S. Wise and Congressman Sol. Bloom were the two leading guest-speakers at the Convention.
Another resolution adopted by the Convention condemns the anti-Jewish atrocities in Roumania, and calls on the Roumanian Government to prevent their recurrence.
