The Zionist Youth Organization of America, following a meeting of representatives from various parts of the country, has added some eleven new groups to the twelve groups already functioning in New York.
The organization has a membership of 1,000. The purpose of the group is to stimulate Zionist sentiment among the youth and to inaugurate a movement of American Jewish youth as permanent settlers in Palestine.
Officers of the organization are: Isaac Imber of New York, president; Milton Selekowitz of Philadelphia and Isidore Shapiro of Newburgh, vice-presidents; Rose Levinson of New York and Joseph M. Leib of Philadelphia, secretaries, and Abraham Kotelchuck of Hoboken, treasurer.
