The Executive Committee of the Federation of Polish Jews in America at a special meeting held for this purpose, adopted a resolution protesting against the law passed by the Prussian Diet calling for the confiscation of the property of East European Jews who entered Germany after August 1, 1914, according to information made public yesterday.

The resolution voices the belief that this measure represents a dangerous attack upon Jewry and calls upon world public opinion to join in the protest.

“We view this act as reminiscent of the darkest period of the Middle Ages,” says the resolution.

At the same time the Polish government is commended for its announced intention of protecting Polish nationals residing in Germany who may be affected by the law.
