Rabbi Samuel Gup, of Providence, R. I., has been appointed to the pulpit of the Bryden Road Temple, Columbus, Ohio, only reform congregation, for one year, and will assume his duties September 1, succeeding Rabbi Jacob Tarshish, whose resignation was accepted earlier in the year.
