Rabbi Israel Rosenberg, Rabbi Joseph Kanovitz and Rabbi A. Peffer, all of New York, and affiliated with the Union of Orthodox Rabbis have been invited to come to Toronto to act as mediators in the Jewish Community and the Abbatoirs.

The matter had reached such a stage that it was sent to the courts for settlement. Judge Tyler, who presided in the case, suggested that the matter be referred to the Union of Orthodox Rabbis for solution.
