Morris Rothenberg, President of the Zionist Organization of America announced today that arrangements are being completed for the conveyance of the body of the late Professor Boris Schatz, noted pioneer Palestine artist, from Denver, Colorado, where he died some months ago, to Palestine where his historic work of organizing the creative arts was launched, and where his remains will be interred.
Mr. Rothenberg stated that the Zionist Organization of America in conjunction with affiliated Zionist national bodies in the United States are providing the necessary funds to defray the expense involved and that there is no need for action by others in the situation.
The details of the shipment of Prof. Schatz’s remains will be announced after a conference with the son of the late Professor Schatz who is now on his way to New York from California.
