The Jewish community of Kansas City will launch a drive for the American Palestine Campaign beginning Rosh Hashanah and continuing until after Yom Kippur, it was decided at a meeting of the Executive Committee.
Harry Friedberg, Sidney Pines and Ben Deutsch, leaders of the Zionist movement in Kansas City, were elected Chairmen of the fund-raising effort. Rabbi Gershon Hadas is Honorary Chairman and Morris Webber is Vice-Chairman.
