The Police department has refused to permit the Nazis to hold mass demonstrations at Karlsplatz and in the vicinity of the Music Verein where the synagogues are located.

As a result Nazi leaders have refused to guarantee that order will be maintained.

In addition the Nazis have issued instructions to their followers to organize strolls through the various quarters and to see for themselves the number of shops closed during the Jewish holydays. In this fashion they will be able to judge for themselves to what extent the city is dominated by Jews.
