The Palestine government has informed the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that no importance should be attached to the report published by “Alnida,” Arab paper of Beirut, to the effect that London political circles are discussing the establishment of a republic in Palestine.
A similar statement was made to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency by the Zionist Executive here which considers the report unworthy of attention.
“The report cannot be taken seriously,” stated Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff, member of the Zionist Executive in charge of political affairs.
