Synagogues in Moscow Crowded

The synagogues here were thronged with worshippers during the Rosh Hashanah services.

An anti-religious meeting arranged by the Jewish club “Communist,” was fairly well attended by the youth, but the anti-religious campaign as a whole made but little headway.

The atheist organizations were inactive, the Communist press complains, while the “clericals” developed a great activity.
