Two hundred and fifty thousand Nazis assembled for open air demonstrations in the vicinity of Vienna’s Ringstrasse yesterday took notice of the Jewish New Year with the greeting: “Judaea Perish! Let the Jews Go to Palestine!”
This greeting was shouted by the Nazi rank and file and repeated in various forms by Nazi speakers.
The Vienna Nazis imported for the occasion outstanding German Nazi leaders including Captain Herman Goering, president of the dissolved Reichstag and the Nazi deputies Roehm, Frank and Streicher. All delivered harangues against the Jews whom they charged with responsibility
