Lord Melchett has accepted the office of Honorary President of the Maccabee Jewish Sports World Federation, following a meeting with Dr. Hermann Lelewer, president of the organization, and Mayer Dizengoff, mayor of Tel Aviv.
Lord Melchett plans to take an active part in the work of the Maccabee and will endeavor to visit during December the large Maccabee centres in Poland, Czecho-Slovakia and Roumania.
