Governor Joseph B. Ely of Massachusetts was presented yesterday with a certificate in the Golden Book of the Jewish National Fund by Max Shoolman, Chairman of the American Palestine Campaign for New England.
The name of the Governor was inscribed in recognition of the official courtesies extended by him to Nahum Sokolow, President of the World Zionist Organization, and his sympathetic interest in the cause of the Jewish National restoration in Palestine.
Governor Ely responding to the presentation said that he will forever cherish it among his priceless memories. The Jewish National cause in Palestine, he stated, should appeal to every right thinking American.
