A suggestion for the revision of the Kol Nidre prayer recited on the eve of the Day of Atonement has been received by Chief Rabbi Hertz of the British Empire in a memorandum received from a synagogue in Sydney, Australia.
The memorandum points out that the present form of the Kol Nidre prayer is misleading and open to misunderstanding.
