The members of the Law Faculty of the University of Breslau today issued an appeal to the Nazi students to permit the continuation of the lectures of the Jewish Professor Ernst Cohn without disturbing peace and order.
The appeal to the Nazi students was signed by the race anti-Semites and the Nazi professor, Wegner.
Professor Cohn is not a protege of the Socialist Ministers but secured his appointment as a scientific authority. He was honorably elected by the faculty, states the appeal.
The faculty has called upon Professor Cohn to resume his lectures on Thursday.
Yesterday the Nazi press announced that Professor Cohn’s lectures had been discontinued. The Jewish professor was attacked at the opening of his lecture series last Thursday.
