Mrs. Jacob H. Schiff, widow of the late Jewish philanthropist, and mother of Mrs. Felix M. Warburg, has contributed the sum of $32,000 to the campaign of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies of which her grandson, Paul F. Warburg, is joint chairman with Ira M. Younker.
The sum of $25,000 was contributed by the Daniel and Florence Guggenheim Foundation.
The total contributions received thus far are in the amount of $808,000. The Federation is seeking the sum of $3,923,000 before the first of the year.
