The possibility that General Kurt von Schleicher, Minister of Defense in the von Papen cabinet, will be named Chancellor of Germany is being discussed here.
In Jewish circles, the appointment is deprecated on the one hand because he is inclined to co-operate with the Nazi Party.
On the other hand, however, it is pointed out that General von Schleicher has endeavored to negate anti-Semitism. Recently in an interview with a French paper, General von Schleicher scored anti-Semitism as the greatest folly. He is also maintaining friendly relations with the Union of Jewish War Veterans.
Second, which of the professors are of Jewish origin; third which are Aryans but are married to Jewesses.
Other questions relate to Freemasons and foreigners.
The questionnaires are to be returned to the official Nazi monitor of the University and in this way the connection with the Nazi movement has been established, the paper states.
