Large police reinforcements stand guard today in the vicinity of the University of Vienna, to prevent any serious consequences should the clashes between the Nazis and the Catholics be renewed.

The possibility that the differences between the Catholics and the Nazis may be diverted to the Jews is feared.

The Catholic press today establishes that the national student law will be abandoned in view of the split between the members of the Austro-German student union, on the question of Hitlerite domination.
