The Arab paper, “Falastin,” publishes an unconfirmed report which states that the Palestine government is negotiating the lease of the reclaimed area of the Haifa Harbor to the Anglo-Swiss Company, Ltd.
The lease, according to the report, would be for a period of forty-nine years, at the rate of £10 to £13 per square meter.
