For the second time within two days Jews have been murdered in towns in East Galicia.

On Sunday all members of a Jewish family named Feld were murdered by bandits in the village of Klodna. Hillel Feld, his wife Chaja, their twelve-year old son and a relative were murdered and robbed of 170 zlotys. The house was then fired. The murderers disappeared.

Yesterday a Jewish storekeeper in the town of Sapiezyn, Simon Wolf by name, was murdered. No robbery motive could be established for the murder, as in this case none of Wolf’s belongings was touched.

These events have struck terror into the hearts of the Jewish inhabitants.
