The construction of a railway between Egypt and Palestine is now being considered by the Egyptian Ministry of Communications, it is learned here.

The railroad would be constructed at a cost of £240,000 and would start at Port Fuad and connect with the route from Kantara and Palestine.

A committee representing the Suez Canal and the Egyptian Customs Railway Departments is scheduled to meet this month to consider the details of the project.
