Feldman and Natasha, by the Jewish press, in the case of the woman described as unprintable, led to the dismissal on December 13, 1932, of three police functionaries by order of the Minister of Interior.
The police officials were dismissed despite the report of the medical ### of the Czernowitz police department which stated that it could find no trace of torture. This report was contradicted, however, by the Social Democratic Deputy Lothar Radacenau.
A number of Jews and Cuzists were injured in the clashes today.
The Cuzists attempted to force their way into the court room but were repulsed by the police. Thereupon clashes ensued.
During a monster demonstration to the University and the national palace, organized by Cuzists students, attacks were made on Jewish students. Dr. Rosenzweig, a member of the municipality who attempted to pacify the anti-Semites, was injured.
The demonstration then made its way to the newspaper district and proceeded to attack the offices of the “Vorwaerts” and the “Morgenblatt”. Two Cuzists and a Jewish official, Hasenfratz, were injured there. Order was restored late in the evening.
The trial of the nine Jews has been postponed to January 26th.
