Of all the German papers, the “Vossische Zeitung”, is the only publication, to refer to the possible anti-Jewish repercussions of Hitler’s appointment to the Chancellorship.
The paper points out that if the present government fails to alleviate the distress and the unemployment situation, the Nazis may choose the road of least resistance, establishing the theory that “hunger cannot be expelled but the Jews can be.”
