The Jewish press is charged with responsibility for bringing about the government’s decree curbing the freedom of the press, according to the Nazi organ “Der Angriff.”

The paper alleges that the Jewish press, meaning the Mosse and Ullstein press is inciting against national regeneration, and for this reason has compelled the government to issue its press gag decree.

The paper declares stern measures will be taken against the agitation of the “Jewish press.”
