Supreme Court Justice Mitchell May was re-elected president of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities for the sixth term at the annual meeting of the Federation held on Sunday at Temple Beth Elohim.

The Federation expended $456,975 during the year and had virtually succeeded in balancing its budget, having a deficit of only $104, this despite the fact the cases handled by it have trebled since 1929.

Other officers elected were: Harry M. Marks, first vice-president; Walter N. Rothschild, second vice-president; Mrs. William Linder, third vice-president; Joseph M. May, treasurer; Benjamin C. Ribman, assistant treasurer: Murry C. Becker, assistant treasurer; Mrs. Nathan L. Goldstein, secretary; Max Abelman, assistant secretary, and Ralph K. Jacobs, assistant secretary.
