A total of $20,000 was raised and 500 new members enrolled by a deficit and membership campaign of the Yonkers Jewish Community Center.
The drive was conducted under the direction of Benjamin Rabinowitz of the Jewish Welfare Board, and Isadore Beierfeld, Executive Director of the Yonkers Jewish Center.
