by Nazi leaders whose authority has been increased since Hitler’s assumption of the chancellorship, are adding to the difficulties of the Jewish population. An average example is the statement of the Saxon Nazi leader Mutschmann who, in issuing instructions to Nazi functionaries, declared that all the recent governments were only sham governments, of which the Jews, in reality, had pulled the strings.
