Mayor Charles S. Owen of Rochester, N. Y. has announced the appointment of Max L. Holtz, President of Iola, the Monroe County Tuberculosis Sanatorium and the Rochester Clothiers’ Exchange, as a member of a new City and County Committee which has for its task the consideration of a program for lower welfare expenditures.
Dr. S. J. Appelbaum of the Jewish Welfare Council, was also selected as a member on this committee.
