Nazi Minister Receives Central Union Leaders; Expresses Regrets for Search of Offices

It has become known that in connection with the search carried out by the authorities of the head office of the Central Union of German Citizens of the Jewish Faith, last week, that Minister Goering has since invited two leaders of the Union and expressed to them his regrets for the incident, as well as for the reports regarding the search published in the Nazi organ, “Voelkischer Beobachter.”

The “Beobachter” had reported that proof that the Central Union was a Jewish Communist organization had been discovered. It is understood that in this connection Goering declared that he had instructed the “Beobachter” to publish a truthful representation of the event in question.
