Heinrich Heine Monument Desecrated in Frankfort

The Frankfort monument to the great German-Jewish poet, Heinrich Heine, was found overturned today. The perpetrators of the deed are unknown. The monument, however, will not be set up again in the public square. Authorities have ordered its removal to the Frankfort museum.
