Meyer, Engineering Expert, Dies in Los Angeles

Lester L. Meyer, nationally known hydraulic engineer and dam builder succumbed here to pneumonia.

For the past seven years Mr. Meyer had been associated with the Los Angeles Bureau of Power and Light. He did extensive research in hydraulics and dam construction and his findings have been published in the publications of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Mr. Meyer was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis N. Meyer, and a native of Los Angeles where his family has been resident for three generations.
