The branches of the Central Union of German Jews have been dissolved all over Thuringia today, following an order issued by the Thuringian minister of the interior. Jews were prohibited from holding further meetings, according to the order.

The minister based the authority for his edict on article one of the president’s ordinance “for the protection of the nation and the country.”
