Germans married to Jewish women or women of Jewish origin, or German women married to men of Jewish origin, must not be appointed government officials and should be dismissed from their posts if already engaged, according to an official government ordinance published in this morning’s Reichs Gesetzblatt.
In the future, said the ordinance, persons of non-Aryan origin must not be employed in Reich, federal, communal or municipal enterprises. The ordinance further declared that railroads the Reichsbank and religious bodies having public relations must not engage Jews. Further details regulating these categories would be released at a later date, the ordinance concluded.
