Lord Rothermere, newspaper magnate and owner of the Daily Mail, which has the largest circulation in England, wrote an article in his paper today on Germany, glorifying the Nazis and completely justifying Hitler’s anti-Semitic policy.
“The Israelites, with their international attachments, insinuated themselves into the German administration,” Lord Rothermere wrote. He claimed that Hitler has freed Germany of such abuses.
Although the Daily Mail has never been pro-Jewish in its editorial policy, it has been a long time since such a violently anti-Semitic article has been circulated to millions of persons throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
