The Joint Council, composed of representatives of the American Jewish Committee, American Jewish Congress and B’nai B’rith met Monday to consider the German situation. Committees were appointed to investigate means through which the rehabilitation of thousands of Jewish refugees could be effected. A program of coordinated action was decided upon, according to a statement issued in behalf of the council following the meeting which took place at the Bankers Club. It was also decided that the council will meet continuously as long as the present situation continues in Germany. The Hitler program at present, in the opinion of the council, has been sharpened and shows no signs of modification.’
