A stinging rebuke to Dr. Max Naumann and his Union of National German Jews who have gone on record as endorsing the Hitler regime was administered by the Preussische Zeitung of Koenigsberg, official Nazi organ for East Prussia.

In a statement captioned “Jewish Insolence,” the paper publishes the following:

“The official division of the National Socialist Party of East Prussia has sent us the following statement. It is not enough that in the National Socialist State there is a Federation of National German Jews publishing without ##ndrance a paper called Der National deutsche Jude, which is alleged to be directed against the Zionists, and prates there about Jewish Germans and German-feeling Jews, but these people have the ###pudence to send this ### anyone asking for it, to leading party offices and officials. Their purpose does not seem very clear. Do they really think that it is possible to influence us? The official section of the party of East Prussia, which has also been visited with these press eruptions, wishes to state that it has in no uncertain manner prohibited this Federation from sending us any more of its publications.”
