Rabbi Super Takes Post with Montreal Synagogue

The congregation Shaar Hashomayim, one of the largest and most influential in this city, announces the appointment of Rabbi A. S. Super of London, England, as educational director. Rabbi Super succeeds I. M. Konowitz, who resigned to move to Palestine.

The schools maintained by the congregation include a Hebrew, Sunday, Institute for Jewish studies and courses for adults.

DEUTSCH SAILS

Bernard S. Deutsch, president of the American Jewish Congress and Fusion candidate for the office of president of the Board of Aldermen, sailed Saturday night for a short cruise to the West Indies. He was accompanied by his family.
