Cancellation of the pensions of Jewish war invalids going abroad unless they obtain permission to leave Germany from the authorities was announced today in a communication to the Jewish Soldiers’ Association.

War invalids must also obtain permission from the Labor Ministry if they plan to leave Germany, but even if the permission is granted by the authorities, the pension may be withdrawn at any time, without any reason being given, thus leaving the invalid stranded abroad.

The Jewish Soldiers’ Association at the same time declared that Jewish war invalids who were excluded from the labor unions because they were Jews but who reside in Germany are entitled to continuation of their pensions.
