Interested Jewish leaders today approached representatives of the German government, seeking some means to permit German Jews to participate in the Nov. 12 Reichstag elections. At the present time, it would be impossible for Jews to participate since one of the questions asked every prospective voter is whether he approves the government policy. It is obviously impossible for the Jewish citizen to answer this in the affirmative because by so doing he would voice approval of the government policies towards the Jews which have reduced the Jews to a second-class citizenship or worse.
