Premier Julius Goemboes, the presidium of the Hungarian Senate, diplomats stationed in Hungary and many Hungarian and Jewish organizations, yesterday joined in congratulating Josef Veszi, Jewish editor of the well-known daily, Peter Lloyd, on the occasion of his seventy-fifth birthday.
Josef Veszi has been editor of the Pester Lloyd since 1913, having been previously associated with other Hungarian newspapers. From 1899 to 1905, he was a member of the Hungarian parliament. Since 1930, he has been a member of the Hungarian Senate.
