‘fictitious’ Marriages Dissolved by Reich

The new bill against the misuse of matrimonial affiliations, originally proposed by Reichs Commissar for Justice Guertner and which has been passed by the Nazi government, provides retroactively that:

1. All “fictitious” marriages frequently contracted in the past, only for the purpose of transferring name and nobility to rich Jewish brides, are to be dissolved.

2. No judicial ratification of adoptions, if parents and the child differ racially.
