A group of fifty laborers in this ancient colony are about to establish a new rural center located about forty miles from here.

Fifty dunams of land have already been planted, and plans are completed for the construction of a public school, a public building for local government officials and many private dwellings. Thirty-three members of the settlement are to be supported by the Thousand Settlement Plan and the others will be beneficiaries of the Merkaz Chakli, the Central Committee of the Agricultural Workers’ Federation funds.’
