Rabbi Benjamin Friedman of Temple Society of Concord, appealed to Jewish alumni of Syracuse University for placement of a rabbi on Dean William H. Power’s Chapel staff. Rabbi Friedman said that attainment of this project on the local campus would do much to co-ordinate the activities of the Jewish students at the university.
