The first Jewish organization in the history of this city was formed here last night, when the Newton Zionist Club was organized at a parlor meeting in the home of Bernard W. Marcus.

The newly-formed organization was addressed by Elihu D. Stone, president of the New England Zionist Region, and by Rabbi H. H. Rubenowitz of Temple Mishkan Tefila, Boston.

The Zionist Club elected the following officers: Bernard W. Marcus, president; Samuel J. Bernstein, vice-president; Joseph Druker, secretary, and David Stern, treasurer.
