The legal question whether the vestibule of a synagogue can be used as a real estate office will be decided by a court of law here after an investigation is launched into the matter.

The local magistrate has received a complaint that ambitious members of the synagogue at Merzak Baalei Melacha, the artisans’ suburb, for want of a better place, have established the land office in the hall of the house of prayer.

The wardens have voiced protest that commerce is a desecration of the Holy place.
